I’ve always liked cats but became an avid cat lover when, as an adult, I adopted my first cat that would be an in-door cat. You gain a deeper appreciate of cats … and they of you, when you’re ‘the one’ to it and it to you. 🙂 Their antics and ability to entertain themselves is amazing to me. They’re funny, cunning, smart, loving, and sometimes annoying. In fact, I have one named Sidney that I refer to as Mr. Annoying. He definitely has a mind of his own and is relentless. For example, I feed my cats in ceramic bowls (it’s supposedly better than plastic for bacterial purposes and, frankly, easier to clean). If his bowl is empty and he’s hungry, he will rock the bowl repeatedly, clinking it on the floor until I get up to fill it. This he does prior to 6:00 a.m. That’s just ONE of the annoying things he does but I love him anyway; it’s hard not to.
